How can I reset my Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in ilert?

This article explains the methods available for resetting your two-factor authentication (2FA) settings in ilert if you've lost access to your device or authentication method.

There are two methods available to reset your 2FA settings:

Option 1: Reset via Account Administrator

  1. Contact another user in your ilert account who has Administrator or Account Owner permissions.

  2. The administrator should:

    • Navigate to the Settings (gear icon) > Users section.

    • Select and edit the affected user's profile.

    • Click 2FA Reset, then confirm the action.

Option 2: Reset via ilert Support

If you cannot use Option 1:

  1. Contact ilert Support by emailing support@ilert.com.

  2. Verify your identity via a short video call with ilert support, typically by presenting valid identification.

  3. After successful verification, ilert Support will reset your 2FA settings.
